Groupama Asset Management organises its new Sigma Management division and strengthens its teams

After gaining AMF approval last 14 April and approval for the merger of Groupama Fund Pickers, Groupama AM is continuing to implement its new Sigma Management Division...

Henri Chabadel was appointed Director of Sigma Investment Management, Servane Duforest becomes Head of Directional Multi-Management, and Dimitri Boismare has joined the company as Fund Analyst and Fund of Funds Manager.

Reporting to Antoine de Salins, Chief Investment Officer for Groupama Asset Management, Henri Chabadel will take charge of the new Sigma Management Division. He joined Groupama AM in 2008 as Head of Directional Multi-Management, having formerly held the position of Multi-management Manager at Louvre Gestion-HSBC PBF (2004-2008). From 2002 to 2004 he was Head of the Risk Control and Quantitative Analysis Department at Banque du Louvre – HSBC PBF. He began his career in 1998 as Auditor at Société Générale. He holds a CFA and is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris.

Servane Duforest becomes Head of Directional Multi-Management. She joined Groupama Asset Management in 2008 as Fund Analyst and Fund of Funds Manager. In 1999 she began working for the BNP Paribas Group, where she served as Organisational Consultant until 2001, then as Portfolio Manager for BNP Paribas Asset Management from 2002 to 2005, and finally, from 2005 to 2008, as Fund of Funds Manager at Fundquest. She is a graduate of HEC.

Dimitri Boismare joins Groupama Asset Management as Fund Analyst and Fund of Funds Manager. He began his career as Fund Analyst at CortalConsors Fund Management (2003-2005). He then served as Fund Analyst and Fund of Funds Manager at FundQuest between 2005 and 2008 and Fund Analyst at Rothschild & Compagnie Gestion from 2008 to 2011. He holds a Master’s in international financial analysis from ESA Lille.

Groupama Asset Management continues its development of a management offering that is different from and complementary to its existing offering. The management offerings of Sigma Managment include Directional Multi-Management (headed by Servane Duforest), Alternative Multi-Management (headed by Olivier Louvet-Martin), and Sigma Direct Management (which Henri Chabadel will lead), combining the directly-managed “Absolute Return” and “Total Return” products. This structuring of the offerings and new strengthening of the management teams demonstrates Groupama Asset Management’s desire to gain new clients, both in France and abroad.
