SRI honored in the Spanish capital

Groupama AM, sponsor of the event in Spain

On April 13th , the first round table on Socially Responsible Investment was held in Madrid, organized by the company Tressis in association with El Economista. The topic for the event was “SRI: performance and social commitment”. This event gathered a total of 90 people (foundations, religious communities, NGOs, customers, individuals interested in SRI, CSR directors and pension funds).

Not only did Groupama AM sponsor the event, alongside Pictet and Natixis, it also took part in the round table, which served to highlight Groupama AM’s expertise in this area.

This initiative, following a growing interest in this type of investment, had the main objective of reminding attendees of the existence of these SRI funds and the fact that they constitute a genuine vehicle for socially responsible investment.

The discussions brought on this round table raised many questions regarding SRI, its characteristics, its definition, its added value etc., and demonstrated the participants’ interest in these funds.

“Socially Responsible Investment in Spain has gained considerable momentum since the start of the year. In Spain, we have achieved special recognition in this field and work on a daily basis to strengthen our positioning in the national market,” explains Iván Díez, Manager of the Groupama Asset Management’s Spanish Subsidiary and participant at the round table.
