G FUND - Avenir Europe is a compartment of the Luxembourg-based G Fund open-end collective investment fund ("SICAV") managed by Groupama Asset Management and invested in European small and mid-cap equities, with the management aim of outperforming the fund's benchmark index, the MSCI Europe Small Caps.

G FUND – Avenir Europe is a compartment of the Luxembourg-based G Fund open-end collective investment fund (“SICAV”) managed by Groupama Asset Management and invested in European small and mid-cap equities, with the management aim of outperforming the fund’s benchmark index, the MSCI Europe Small Caps. This compartment was hard-closed in October 2018, in conformity with the provisions of its current prospectus. Since then, the level of assets under management reached by the fund (€ 687 million) and the liquidity conditions of this asset class have given the management teams the capacity to accept a new inflow of subscriptions. Consequently, the Board of Directors of the G FUND collective investment fund has decided to reopen the following shares to subscription, with effect from 31 January 2019: AC, GD, IC, IUSD, NC, NUSDH, OD, PC, RC and VC.

G FUND – Avenir Europe was created on 12 December 2014 to complete the product range of the Groupama Asset Management “Avenir” funds, which are all based on the company’s expertise in Small and Mid Caps.  To achieve this aim, the team implements a conviction-based management approach, independently of its benchmark index, the MSCI Europe Small Caps. The fund strategy prioritizes stock-picking, focusing on companies having economic models that are judged conducive to generating value for the shareholder. This selection is based on meetings with the managers of the target companies and analysis of their economic models and valuation.
