After initially soft-closing the Groupama Avenir Euro fund by imposing a charge of 10% on new investors, Groupama Asset Management has today announced that this measure will now be extended to existing investors. This decision aims to preserve the management conditions and performance prospects of this stock‑picking fund in the specific universe of eurozone small and mid-caps.
The Groupama Avenir Euro fund has grown significantly in size over the last 5 years, to the point that today it has a total asset base of 1.4 billion euros. To continue applying a management strategy appropriate to the capacities of the fund, and to pursue its quest for high performance, Groupama Asset Management has decided to harden the soft closure of the fund by applying an initial charge of maximum 10% to all new subscriptions – including those from existing investors.
Groupama Avenir Euro has received regular awards for its performance.1.
