Strengthening of the SMID* team at Groupama Asset Management with the arrival of Maxime Prodhomme
Maxime Prodhomme is joining the teams at Groupama Asset Management in the capacity of fund manager-analyst, alongside Stéphane Fraenkelet and Hervé Lorent, in order to help develop the Small & Mid Caps segment (SMID).
His professional career, marked by top-calibre experience as financial analyst at several European asset management companies, has enabled him to acquire the indispensable knowledge and practical skills necessary to complement the existing expertise provided by Groupama AM.
We welcome the arrival of Maxime Prodhomme to further advance our development ambitions. His experience of European small cap companies, especially in his capacity as specialized manager at Oddo BHF Asset Management and financial analyst at Portzamparc, will be invaluable in completing our range of expertise in this domain. Maxime will also be contributing his know-how for accelerating our development in socially responsible investment (SRI) and extending the geographical coverage of our tracking capabilities.

Since 2018, Maxime Prodhomme had been a specialist Equity Manager at Oddo BHF Asset Management, where he focused in particular on the financial analysis of European small-cap companies.
Between 2016 and 2017, he was sell-side Equity Analyst at Portzamparc BNP Paribas, tracking 13 companies on the CAC Mid & Small index. Before that, Maxime Prodhomme undertook trainee internships at Comgest Asset Management (buy-side equity analyst), Crédit Mutuel Arkéa/ SPG (high-yield bonds analyst) and Moneta Asset Management (buy-side equity analyst).
Aged 32, Maxime Prodhomme is a graduate of Paris Dauphine University (Masters 222 Asset Management) and is a CFA charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst).
