Groupama Asset Management announces the arrival of Julia Kung as Convertibles Analyst and Manager
Groupama Asset Management has recruited Julia Kung as Convertibles Analyst and Portfolio Manager in the Equities and Convertibles Investments department.
Groupama Asset Management is continuing to expand its management capabilities by recruiting Julia Kung in the role of Convertibles Analyst – Portfolio Manager. Julia Kung will be responsible for the active management of the company’s convertible bonds portfolios. She will also join the managers and analysts tasked with promoting, designing and developing new investment solutions.
Julia Kung will report to Pierre-Alexis Dumont, Head of Equity and Convertibles Investments at Groupama AM.
This appointment will help to strengthen the “convertibles” team, one of the key specialist fund domains of Groupama AM.
Julia Kung has notably worked at Goldman Sachs International as Associate in the investment management division. Subsequently, she worked at Amundi Asset Management in the role of Senior Investment Specialist and, since 2018, as Portfolio Manager, responsible for several funds and for the active manager of more than 1.6 billion euros in global and European convertible bonds.
Julia Kung has a Degree in Economic Sciences, majoring in Finance (University of Pennsylvania) and a Master’s in Business Administration, specializing in Management (INSEAD, Fontainebleau).
